Not only the surroundings of Ananyana but also the wonderfull staff made us feel as if we would never want to leave. Expect a magnificant experience with a local Philippine touch. Those of you longing for absolute peace and tranquility must visit Ananyana. Don't go anywhere else on Panglao Island. And to Dodong, Lyndon and Toytoy; KEEP THE CD'S IN THE BOXES. Jon, Alexa (my daughter) and I went a day before to get everything ready and start our vacation early. My Kuya Bolet and his wife Camille and 4 kids enjoyed it so much, they decided to extend for another 2 nights! The service of the staff was excellent and the smile/greeting we get everyday was heart warming. The privacy Ananyana offered our family was what we were looking for. We thank you all especially to Elaine, Jesse, Ging Ging, Baby, Berto, Dodong, Rouella, Dario, chefs, housekeeping for making our family vacation a truly memorable one! We enjoyed the comfortable accomodations... the sumptuous meals and delicious fruit shakes/chilled wine! (our request for danggit/daing na bangus for breakfast excellent and our buffet dinner the highlight of the trip!) at the beach front carefully set...the dip at the pool (with the kids jumping in and out!)...the early coffee in front of the beach...the powdery sand and the cool waters of the ocean...lounge music and relaxing day bed at the living room...day trip to chocolate hills, fragile tarsiers, lombok river. We already miss Ananyana and the nice people we have met. I know I will be back.... |

We enjoyed our 14 days stay very much, thanks for the hospitality: We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the very good food - our compliments to the chief cook ! We also enjoyed diving very much with Boboy as our guide. We finally saw our first seahorse - even if it was very very small (pygmae). Due to the good guidance of Boboy we were able to obtain very nice pictures. If you could please show the attached pictures to Boboy - and thanks again to the whole staff. Marlies Bruin from The Netherlands wrote at 2005-03-23 12:48:58 This is a perfect place: the diving is great, the food is delicious, the sleeping is king-size, and the pottering around absolutely a continuous temptation. You just have a hard time to choose between what you most want to do. I loved the roaming colt, the sweet-tempered dogs, the noisy gekko's and the little blue crabs on the beach.
